Program Overview
The Alumni Association's Community Service Program, together with campus organizations such as the Center for Social Concerns, Campus Ministry and the Office of Community Relations, promotes service opportunities for our alumni and friends by creating an awareness of need and fostering action through volunteer service in the local, national and world communities.
The Alumni Community Service Program supports local ND clubs that are actively engaged in community service endeavors throughout the world. In addition to this club level involvement, the Alumni Association offers several campus programs throughout the year where alumni and friends are welcomed back to Notre Dame to engage in active dialogue and service in the local South Bend community
The Alumni Community Service Program is focused on three key areas:
Service Projects through ND Clubs, Classes and Alumni Groups
Nearly 70% of the 275 ND clubs are actively engaged in community service endeavors throughout the world. In addition to these club level programs, the Alumni Association offers several programs throughout the year where alumni and friends are welcomed back to Notre Dame to engage in active dialogue and service in the local South Bend community.
